Dear CR4-Mambers,

Can you describe or forward the TEST PROCEDURE/ANSI/IEEE Std# 495-1986 for Cable Earth fault indicator ( Sensor installed at Elastimold cable dead break ).

Yes, were a legitimate copy of the standard to hand. Fortunately, obtaining a copy is so easy. One simply telephones the agency that supplies them and quotes a credit or debit card number, and the standard will arrive either electronically or through the post, whichever is preferred.

This standard is actually available for free off the internet, however that is likely because it is obsolete.

You should purchase IEEE 495-2007 from one of the standards websites instead.
