Well, they are sold mostly to Asian medical producers and cosmetics manufactures because they are a cheap source of protein.

I wouldn't worry about nuclear war, that's not what they are being grown for.

Not a bad way to make a little extra spending money......that is if you can stand cockroaches....I guess you could ramp production up to make a truly hideous display....not for me...I would have nightmares about them getting loose and taking over...I do have a robotic remote controlled giant roach I use to scare the bejesus out of unsuspecting neighbors though.....

Just about the whole world raises cockroaches. You think these pharmaceutical labs will take them if we send all for free.
