ADCP ( Accoustic Doppler Current Meter )

06/24/2014 11:16 PM

Will ADCP ( Accoustic Doppler Current Meter ) work in turbid or muddy water near shore ? What is your experience as a user ? Not going by the manufacturers tall claims.

Why wouldn't it work decently? Mechanical devices might get clogged with the mud.

Did you read this here?

By what I read it needs the mud in the water to reflect the pings. Go figure!
