Rotor Inter-Turn Fault Simulation Using Matlab-simulink in Synchronous Generator

06/26/2014 1:13 AM

my M.E. project in rotor inter-turn fault simulation in synchronous generator .....In my work i have to simulate the inter-turn fault in rotor through matlab-simulink ....i have created a simulink model in matlab as given in IEEE paper ...... my doubts are:-

1) how to incorporate the inter-turn fault in rotor winding in simulink model OR

2) Is it possible to show the existance of fault by just changing the damper winding inductance values....Please refer the following link for paper which i have to prove....

A rotor interturn fault usually refers to the field winding which has absolutely no connection to the amortisseur winding. Why do you think making changes to it makes your model valid?
