That costs money!

It's the same in the UK, "Can anyone send a copy of IET 17th edition?"
I'm a member of the IET, I have to pay for it.

Just contact the NEC. They have so many copies available, they are selling them just to get rid of them. All that is needed is a telephone and a valid credit card.

ASSuming that your Google-fu powers are weak (as evidenced by you having to ask the question here in the first place) the fact is, you cannot "contact the NEC"...

The document is OFFICIALLY called NFPA-70, and is referred to as the "National Electric Code", which is then abbreviated "NEC". The publisher of the document is the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA... get the connection?) and if you apply your rudimentary Google skills to that, you should be able to easily find a link to their website, from whence you may take the necessary actions to purchase it. There are, in addition, a myriad of third-party resellers of the same document, all duly licensed by the NFPA to offer it legally. I highly suggest buying the electronic version, it is searchable, which comes in very handy.

If what you were looking for was for someone in here to post a link to a surreptitious copy that someone has made available illegally for free via the web in violation of their (NFPA's) copyright protection, then you are asking members of this forum to violate the law and indirectly, in allowing it to take place, the gracious hosts of this website service could themselves be subject to civil if not criminal prosecution. Shame on you if that was the case.

NFPA.org - NFPA Catalog‎ is a reference (you asked for a reference) that can provide you with the information you need..

No one else can provide you with a LEGAL copy of the document you desire.

First...register for an account with the NFPA for free...

The NEC is free to view online: http://www.nfpa.org/codes-and-standards/document-information-pages?mode=code&code=70&tab=editions

Select the year from the drop-down and follow the links to the online version.

FYI...

ALL of the NFPA documents are free to read online.
