Radio Detection

Your radio can tell you if you have a bearing problem.

Since Sony developed the Walkman, people's bearing have not been significantly affected. A few still like to dance with a boombox.

In that case, a radio would be of no use.

Should that be "Your radio can tell you if you have a bearing hearing problem."?

Correct, and damaged rolling elements (wheel bearings) in an old Hudson hornet with an AM radio tuned off station.

I knew we'd get to it eventually...

The normal static/spark noise differs from the damaged bearing indication how?

Timing in relation to road speed and the fact that I got this started just to see what would happen. I apologize.

My smileys don't work either. I tried two different bowsers and neither worked.

Well, we did inconvienance some electrons with our little discussions. (insert smiley here).

How's the new job?

I vaguely remember a "Ctrl R" or other cryptic reset dance will bring the smileys back. I looked quickly in the CR4 feedback section but could not find the command.

Welcome back.

Thanks guys... good to be back.

I'm using Win 7 Pro with SP1, and IE11. I miss not being able to place a quick smiley... sometimes makes a comment a little clearer. I tried to cut 'n paste one, that won't work either. I'll figger it out.

Hey, there we go!

I got one of the junior corporate officers from the 'Smilies R Us' division of LynDoorTM Graphics on it... He's climbing over the bodies up the ladder so, Shirley, he wants to impress with a solution to this.

<I can't insert special characters either... I'll try Chrome, see if that helps.>

Hyuk-yuk-yuk! Haven't heard that one in a while.

Yeah, for some things the shine can come off the pearl after a while. I lived around here when I was a kid (about 126 years ago, I guess), so I have a pretty good idea about what to expect.

Frontier Days is a'comin'. I remember that being a pretty big to-do.

<Cheese and rice! Won't let me insert a hyperlink either!>
http://www.cfdrodeo.com/ is the info about our big summer event.

They still have Frontier Days? My dad entered in the cattle-roping event once. Just once, in '64. The horse went down on a sharp turn and pinned him, breaking several ribs. Apart from that I thought the rodeo was huge fun.

Re: Radiodetection

Frontier Days is indeed a goin' concern. Lots of boot-scootin', whiskey drinkin', and general cowboyin' goes on. Population of the city is about 60,000, swells to (I am told) about 250,000 for the event. I understand there isn't a room available, or a spot for a tent or camper, within 50 miles of here for the week and a half of the event, and the same is nearly true for AD2015.

What if it doesn't want to? What if it wants to play "She Thinks My Tractor Is Sexy" instead? Or "Bubba Shot The Jukebox?" (stops to reload).
