Perhaps this is the solution to the voodoo love astrologer spam. It might be the cure to the comment time out, as that problem seems to not be occurring anymore. In any case, it is not my forum and admin has every right to run it as they see fit.

The entire website is unavailable for hours, or at least tens of minutes at a time. All that comes up for me is a blank screen.

Same here, once I click on it the little screens down at the bottom of the monitor just flicker as if trying to communicate but can't get a signal.

If it helps Admin in trouble-shooting, sometimes when I try to connect to CR4 (either by responding to a thread update message, or directly) the modem lights flicker very slowly. No time-out or error message occurs, and refreshing does not help. No action or message occurs at all for a few minutes, so I just give up and go on to something else. This problem seems to occur only on CR4, not on other blogs I follow.

Thanks all for your patience... especially on weekends when there's not always someone available to restart the server. I know that the team is looking into the cause of the problem, but am not sure when it'll be fixed, because there are a lot of people on summer vacation right now.

It does seem like the 'too-quick time-out when composing comments' problem has been rectified, since I haven't experienced the problem in at least a week. This is very much appreciated.

I'm not sure exactly who to thank. Could you either point me in the right direction or convey my gratitude?

It's running very slick right now. Can you reveal the name of the hero/heroine who has done this ? Even if you can't, they seem to have done a very good job.
