Earthing Of Pump And Vessel

We have 2*75KW motor coupled with pump... I had earthed motor on two sides.. Do I have to earth pump and I have a small vessel do its required to earth pump and vessel....?? Plz anyone clarify me..!!

Follow the electrical code that applies to the country of the installation, which is not specified in the original post; in the UK, for example, it is BS7671.

Do the pump and motor have electrical continuity with metal baseframe and pressure vessel?.

I assume it is water pump.Is it skid mounted?

The pump and the motor must be mechanically connected to each other,plus because of leakages there is a chance of electrical leakage.Earthing the pump will be more prudent and will cost less than the time on the discussion.

No the motor-pump base is a civil one not mounted in frame.. the pump output have been connected to the vessel and its not pressure vessel..!!

Metal enclosure of any electrical equipment must earthed effectively for human safety.
