We've had now two gender-related articles in near succession. The first, a woman, not a person, but a woman wins the Fields Medal. Yay!

Real bluddy news. Not news of the accomplishment itself, but newsworthy because of gender. The kind of article that appeals to people who wouldn't have a bluddy snowball's chance in hell of comprehending the accomplishment nor the honor.

Now we've got what is basically a 'Men Prefer Shocks to Thinking' piece of arse-wipe research. Recycled, month-old 'news' parading itself as legit science reporting; AKA, arse-wipe.

What is this crap doing here? This isn't engineering; it's Us Versus Them Gender-Division Bullshit. Look, you want to fish in that cesspool? For that there's Tumblr: All the Us Versus Them social-site excrement you could possibly imagine, ripe for the picking. But don't bring it here, please, CR4?

I'm starting to actually miss some of the over unity threads we use to get here. The closest we had to one of those was the one stroke engine from last month.
