A pressure relief valve will open. This maybe a designed pressure relief valve with little consequence. This could be the rupturing of a seal with mild damage. Your chamber could explode with catastrophic consequences for anyone nearby.

It deeply disturbs me that you have to ask.

Have the inhabitants of the planet suddenly taken leave of all common sense?

Many of the questions posted here lately would seem to indicate that is the case.

Well, look around what is happening in this world.

Yes it seems common sense was never common and probably never will be.

Human kind developed the internet to distribute the common sense but it seemingly only acts as a gauge so the uncommon ones can see what is common.

Welcome to the uncommon show room.

We better discuss the rest in the Breakroom.

well, if you don't have any safety devices such as pressure relief valves what will happen is the same if you take you name and ad 'it' to the end of it.

And you'd be in a world of it.

Assuming you are referring to the mechanical seal on a pump: if the seal chamber pressure is less than the vapor pressure, the fluid will vaporize and the seal will become a gas seal. Is your seal designed to be a gas seal? If not, it probably will not run long before failing.

Exactly what it says on the HazOp Study report for the plant. Now go away and ask to see that document.
