Hot Bar Bonding Machine

Have you considered using a strip of (say copper) bar or plate that can transfer the heat from a large wattage soldering iron fairly uniformly and quickly?

Having no clue exactly what you are trying to do:

Consider a hot plate, or copper bar suggested above, covered with Teflon tape.

Maybe you could just rent....or piece one together with refurbished parts....

I have built these devices. There are several ways to do this.

1) You can modify a Weller soldering gun.

2) You can use a heater bar from a gas burner ignitor.

3) You can use a nichrome or resistive wire loop

4) You can purchase a used one
