What is the difference between instantaneous type and inverse time circuit breaker ? Is the Class B or C MCB classified in one of the above ?

The difference is just what the names say:

Instantaneous trips on current above the pickup setting "instantaneously" with no intentional time delay (usually just a few cycles).

Inverse time says that there in an inverse relationship between the level of current sensed and the time it takes the breaker to trip. If the current is only slightly above the pickup setting, the breaker takes a long time to trip (determined by the trip curves). If the current is many times the pickup setting, the breaker trips more quickly.

Sounds complicated! Can you run that by again? Does it trip slower or faster south of the equator? LOL -- JHF
