Modelling a 2-Phase Transmission Line in ETAP

09/20/2014 9:59 PM

Hi All,

I have started using ETAP and I want to model a 2-phase transmission line. To the best of my knowledge I can make a transmission line, a single phase by connecting it through a phase adapter to the 3-phase utility. I can't seem to know how to make the transmission line, 2-phase.

Could anyone help out?

Thanks!

Two lines rather than one might help; then decide the angle between the two phases. I don't know if ETAP accommodates arbitrary choices.

Not sure if using 2 lines can be able to simulate a 2-phase transmission line effectively as my analysis has to be done with a single transmission line of 2 phases
