Sensor Design

hi frnds,

i would like to discuss with sensors in automotive industries if u have any idea or suggestion or design model,technical share with them in automotive manual transmission sensors potentiometer sensors position and linear two different sensors,dbw(drive by wire) sensors linear and position and lvdt sensors linear and position sensors

Anonymous posting should not be allowed.

Forget potentiometers, go contactless. If youv'e enough money you can build a car from the scratch using industrial components but depending on coutnries you'll be unable to meet all legal requirements because it would be way too expensive (in Europe due to the whole ECE and EN crap).

And BTW I don't understand the meaning of your topic. I hate automotive engineers because instead of using reliable industrial COTS parts (which would be way less expensive if produced in very large series) they always end with expensively sold cheap Made in [add some low wage country here] unreliable OEM parts.

If cars would be designed like we do our industrial engineering jobs many garages would go out of business.

You need to provide more information such as why are you asking and what are you trying to do with the information specifically? All you have asked so far are simple internet search phrases.
