Heidi

Just thinking thru something that could happen, probably never will, but I like to ponder about it.

Looking thru a library book showing ancient European castles, perhaps one could draw something on a napkin that could give some good ideas on a sand castle which could resemble one of the pictures or drawings shown in the library book on castles - ancient that is. Then, with the latest sand castle molds, try to build it. Keep the napkin after the picnic on the beach. Take a picture when spectators are looking at the sand castle, make sure one can see the waves coming in. Take the napkins home after surfing and sun bathing. Get the pictures developed; then when it seems to get boring at home, look at the picture and napkin again. By this time, my comment is getting too long. Is it worth it to continue on my general theme? End product might be a doll house, not too manly, but there are people with watch maker skills and are good with their knowledge of carpentry and construction. Just don't get the book wet or get sand in it.

Why not use a digital camera and print your own pictures.

Better yet, download pictures from the internet, print them and take them to the beach.

Then you don't even need to go to the library.

Surf on, dude!

But with the help of Heidi's sand castle molds, you could build some assume snow forts.

"Assume" is a cute spelling of "awesome".

Think about building a card house with a good solid base, perhaps with a piece of wood from the bread board which was accidently put into the dishwasher, resulting in a bunch of small parts of the bread board. Scotch tape is needed.

People like Lyn get irritated when you mention perpetual motion machines.

Not sure how to go about all of this. See http://www.allaboutdrawings.com/castle-drawings.htm

There is a lot more to this than meets the eye. Oh, well.

Posed like someone who very seldom plays/ has played on a beach.

Google 'sand sculptures'. Almost anything is possible.
