ASME Section IX

Dear All,

can anybody explain what is the difference between Table QW-451.1 and QW-451.2 of ASME Section IX ???

If the difference is Transverse-Bend test and Longitudinal-Bend test, how can we decide which test should be performed along with the Tension test ???
