I doubt this will ever fly. Remember, we still get people here at CR4 concerned about EMI from power lines. I expect that there are still people out there that think the RF from cell phones cause brain tumors.

Tesla's "secrets" are still safe, when I read "...distances, which we consider to be anywhere from a centimeter to several meters...", I figured that he smiled and stopped rolling over in his grave.

It's not so much what they say, it's what they don't that holds the keys to understanding their technology, and the part that they conveniently ignore is the input power to the transfer point. At least they're honest even though they take a very convoluted path to say that they still haven't overcome the Inverse Square Law.

I'm sure that this will find usage in items with short range requirements, wireless robots, chargers, tracking devices, etc., but for bulk power transfer...

Wireless power transfer is only good for low power applications where convenience trumps efficiency. It's not a big deal if a phone charger wastes power, but it would be unacceptable for a charger for an electric vehicle.

Dunno, but I expect some really weird hairdos. I was going to put up a photo, but all I got was Donald Trump.
