See manuals, find recommended spare parts that is usually recommended by manufacturer then assess if needed the exact quantity. The piping system this type must have a redundant set-up. It means 2 valves per line. Ask inventory for atleast 2 or 1 unit whole and spare is available. If there are none, decide to PR according to importance and urgency. For most common sense dictates.

Ask the maintenance mechanics. They are the ones who have first hand experience from repairing them.

Good Day Arif

The best maintenance strategies are what the stakeholders at your company determine them to be.

Suggest you google "Total Productive Maintenance" and in the meantime study this link for developing maintenace strategies at your company http://www.lifetime-reliability.com/free-articles/maintenance-management/maintenance-strategy-101.html

If the control valves are provided with smart positioners ,you can do diagnostic on the valve ,online.

If on/off valves have partial stroke testing device ,you can exercise a partial stroke to verify that the valve is in good condition.
