Re: I question about tinner

What shall I say?

Be more specific? Tell us more? What do you know already? Why? When? What product?

Start with 'why' you need to know, otherwise the rest would be an internet research on your part.

Dihydrogen Monoxide is a universal solvent.

Refer to the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division for more information:

What, like water? Water is a product thinner too. Uses, it thins the product.

You need to provide much more information as your question is far to vague to possibly answer.

You got to love it! Maybe we should ask my friend here what the OP is wanting to know?

If only people would stop and think, ok if this were a conversation and I walked in to a room full of Engineers and Scientists and spoke my question to them what would the result be.

In general the internet not only makes people bolder (saying things they wouldn't say to your face in person) but also seems to make them lazier with the details.

It's still the same information be it verbal or written.

Is this due to a lack of technical writing skills being taught now days perhaps? It cannot just be this because it happens regularly on CR4 and not just from the young students or recent graduates.

Anyone got any ideas why this might be? I would be interested to hear from anyone who has done this themselves.

I officially hijack this thread until we get more information on the original application.

There... I see something... within the ball...

...between those IMMENSE hands...

...I see...... a book... yes, the cover of a book... I can only make out 'Stephen King'...

I support the hijack.

LynDoor™Ind has the thinner you need.

Ice? We have the prefect thinner: Heat.

Metal? Need a thinner? We have hammers for every need.

Air? we'll have you at 20 thousand feet in no time.

Wire? We'll pull it for you.

Pizza dough? Gotcha covered. Rolling pins of many styles.

I can't think of a thing we can't thin, a product we can't handle.

Look for us in the Yellow Pages.

As you can see there are many thinners. Those listed are only a minute listing of one solvent. You would get a better and more relevant answer if you gave more information about your interest in thinners.

Good Questions = Good Answers.

That way you wouldn't have to put up with answers that are probably worthless and distracting to your interests. If this helps you fine, if not don't blame me. I gave you what you might need based on your question.

Good Luck, Old Salt
