Disney's Giant, Robotic Eyeball Prototype

Imagineers realize that the eyes convey emotions and a two-foot eye prototype showcases our newest concept. It's a new type of mechanism that uses electromagnets to create realistic eye motions. There is only a single moving part -- the eye itself -- and no wear points. That means faster, more realistic movement and longer life.

Don't let them fool you.

This is just the first major component of the giant but endearingly cute monster robot that will one day carry Walt Disney's thawed-out brain, enabling him to enslave us all.

Go ahead and laugh now. Because in that horrible future when you'll be forced to wear a Tinkerbell costume all day, every day you won't feel so amused.
