Man Puts Rocket Launchers On His Motorcycle

Posted December 17, 2009 9:52 AM

From Neatorama:

YouTube user jairust mounted bottle rockets on his motorcycle. He writes: Before you comment on safety remember that they are made of cardboard and balsa wood. You can buy them at walmart, they don't have explosives in them, any sharp tips, no metal, and nothing that can hurt anyone.

Even though highly reckless and fraught with litigation potential, I would sooo love to do something like this. Just to have something shinier than my middle finger that might catch the attention of the idiot car drivers out there who seem to think my motorcycle is either invulnerable, invisible or simply unworthy of sharing "their" road.

I would prefer the 2.75" rockets commonly carried on helicopter gunships...

But, then, I don't want to get their attention. I wanna get them out of my way when I'm on the bike.

I'm looking at 200 ft of driveway buried in over 1' of snow. If I could get out to Walmart I'd get a plastic sled, attach a couple of these bottle rockets, perch in the front with a firm grip on my snow shovel and drudgery begone.

1' ??????

I woke up to 30" yesterday morning, but only a 40' driveway. When I was about halfway done shoveling, I would have been more than happy to trade my 2006 Honda Aero for a decent snow blower.

There ain't nothin worse than worthless horsepower sitting around when there's a heavy job to do, with or without rockets attached.
