The EPA's recent identification of six green house gases as endangering public health will probably lead to tighter regulation and possibly, Cap and Trade legislation from the U.S. Congress. Observers say the EPA Endangerment Finding will hurt energy and manufacturing plants, but energy stocks were either flat in the case of coal plants, or up in the case of renewable energy plants. Is the EPA's move a good idea for the U.S. at the expense of the domestic manufacturing industry? Is it a bad idea all around, or a mixed bag?
