Video: Cold Beer In 20 Seconds

Posted January 07, 2010 9:33 AM

From The UberReview:

I don't know why I never saw this before, evidence suggests that the video has been around for more than a year, but good science is priceless. I am going to try this just as soon as I get some canned air and a day that is warm enough to make me want to chill beer.

The air temp dropped in the plastic container. The beers temp did not drop by more than 1-2 degrees. Mythbusters did an excellent one on cooling beer. stick it in a cooler, then blast the inside of the cooler with the entire contents of a co2 fire extinguisher. That gave you cold beer in under 20 seconds. They measured the temp of the beer itself. Dropped from 70f to 34f.

It would be cheaper to go to a bar and buy a beer.
