Dutch scientists are making progress in their quest for petri dish pork - pork muscle grown in vitro for meat. Just cast your eyes on the delicious photomicrograph shown below, which displays pork grown from stem cells in all its porcine glory.

I see pink spots in the photo; they'd better cook it a bit more?? Or maybe with in vitro pork Trichinae would be absent? What's the word for pork carpaccio or pork sashimi or pork chop tartare? Cunning linguists unite! Maybe we can invent a catchy new marketing term.
