NASA has released the most detailed images ever made of Pluto, revealing that the dwarf planet looks significantly different from the last time such pictures were taken.

The discovery of Eris (aka Xena before naming) is the reason for Pluto's demotion. They didn't want to let her in the planet gang, it would have made a ruckus at the door for other bodies with planetish credentials.... To see Eris orbit and other details go here and enter minor planet number 136199 in the search.

Eros is a different ball game, inner planet sphere eh.
