Mr Mahesh Khaitan, India deserves the nomination for inventing a new process to extract cellulosic bioethanol from rice and wheat straws. 300 litres anhydrous fuel grade cellulosic bio ethanol extracted from 1 metric tonne of rice and wheat straws as feed stock input. No need for costly enzymes! Process promises simpler, cheaper extraction with clean manufacturing, zero discharge revolutionary and patented "Modified Kraft Chemical Recovery" technology. The main process technology also carries Indian patent application. Technology validated and now is to be commercialised. Nomination filed by: Santhanam R.
