First Human 'Infected with Computer Virus'

A British scientist says he is the first man in the world to become infected with a computer virus. Dr Mark Gasson from the University of Reading contaminated a computer chip which was then inserted into his hand. The device, which enables him to pass through security doors and activate his mobile phone, is a sophisticated version of ID chips used to tag pets.

No, he's not infected with computer virus, he only carries a device in which the code is stored; the same as if he took a flash memory and shoved it up his ear.

It won't improve your memory or IQ unless you are in presence of a PC interface capable of receiving the data from your implant and then make use of the information.

Mr. Gasson and Mr Capurro should be more interested in finding a way of blocking the transmission of such last names to their descendants.
