NASA to Launch Small Science Satellites From Alaska

From SPACE.com:

NASA is preparing for the launch of two small satellites packed with experiments, including a solar sail prototype, from Alaska this week. The two main satellites, known as FASTSAT and O/OREOS, will each carry multiple piggyback payloads of their own, mission scientists said. The small solar sail is one of these parasite payloads.

You make light of a comment attributed to Sarah Palin (I can see Russia from my house). But that is not what she said. In fact she said that they (Russia) are our (Alaska) neighbors and you can see Russia from land in Alaska.

While your comment is funny on the surface, it's based on a incorrect information perpetuated by those who don't like her in an effort to make her appear to be an idiot. Now perhaps she is an idiot, if so, then use the truly idiotic things she's said against her, not some distortion of reality.

but the truth is, I am just plain afraid of her.

I'm sure everyone is getting different info... but this vanity fair article on palin is an example of what I read.
