If you weren't impressed with the Nissan Leaf's all-electric engine, maybe you'll at least raise an eyebrow at this Xbox-esque achievement system Nissan worked into the Leaf's software, which ranks your energy efficiency against other owners.

WTF? So the vehicle is going to encourage people to look at their little screens and not the road while driving like hyper mileing idiots?

Just what we don't need more dumb asses in little cars tailgating dangerously close to everything bigger than them in order to gain aerodynamic efficiency at others fuel expense or going 45 mph on the 75 mph interstates and main roads.

Way to go Nissan you just figured out how to encourage more idiots to put an effort into making the driving experience that much more dangerous for the rest of us.
