Posted March 25, 2011 11:47 AM

From Jalopnik:

This is Orismar de Souza, a homeless man in Brazil, who decided to build the car he couldn't buy using junk, spare parts and a hammer and chisel. Four years later, the "shrimpmobile" has him back on his feet.

I bet GM executives are already talking to their engineers about how they too can build something like this for similar up front costs but with less metal or reliable materials.

Way to go, man! It looks pretty good, better than some cars I have owned. Now you need to make your own licence plate and a driver's licence.

I don't mean to sound mean but,If he's smart enough to build a car out of junk the he should be smart enough to get a job and get him a place to live.

Times are hard but McDonald's and other fast food restaurants are always hiring. I mean a job is a job and that's better than no job at all. Am I right?
