I don't blame them (Netflix). I think its more convenient and I enjoy this service.

Have to just develop better infrastructure to carry the additional load.

I love netflix. Thanks to netflix and similar services I no longer pay for cable.

cable.....same here, you start with a 29.00/month introductory off, and before you know it its 89.00/month

Same here. Once I got high speed internet about 3 years ago the satellite service got shut off.

I don't Netflix though rather I prefer the free share torrent method. I may not get the newest stuff right away but at least I get to keep what I down load.

Too bad these media companies are diversified. Otherwise, we could boycott the cable companies until they were forced out of business. Then Netflix and, hopefully, some competition could step in and use their infrastructure. But the statistics imply that cable and satellite companies may already be feeling a crunch.

Here's an older, but interesting article written when the whole issue of Net "neutrality" was surfacing. I don't know how accurate it is, but it's a pretty concise nutshell history for what it does covers.
