Cutting Glass with Scissors.

Posted April 10, 2007 3:05 PM

From Neatorama:

Can you really cut glass with scissors? Has anyone else done this? Even if were possible, I'm sure you'd ruin your scissors, wouldn't you?

Didn't really "CUT" the glass, all I could do was score the glass with the scissors and then apply pressure along the scored section to break it clean. The scissors still worked provided the tips were dulled. Although I do use scissors to cut "Glass Mat" and "Glass Wool" aka fiberglass.

When the glass is almost molten and toffee like, it is usually cut with scissors. Though of course that might not be what you meant.
