Medical Market Nuclear Fallout?

Agricultural and fishery operations based in Japan's Fukushima Prefecture have seen their markets disappear. Many medical device companies, including Olympus Medical Systems, are also located in this region impacted by radiation from the disabled Fukushima nuclear power plant. Radiation levels of industrial goods manufactured in the area are being monitored to prevent further erosion of overseas markets. Are fears of market or supply chain disruption justified?

Fears of marketing disruption are probably justified, but fears of radioactivity in manufactured goods are probably not.
