Posted July 06, 2011 11:23 AM

"David Axe reports from war zones, shoots television and writes comic books."

Such willful self delusion clearly falls into the latter

Agree with you 34Point5.....who is this idiot trying to persuade? Who is kidding who?

Fiction at it's finest!

Truth be known, both the Russians and Chinese will be able to outstrip our aircraft manufacturing capacity to produce stealth aircraft, even now. Following the '91 Gulf War and the end of the Soviet Union, too many aircraft corporations in the USA merged as a result of the "peace dividend" and military down-spending, effectively squashing our aircraft production capabilities and redundancy.....too few production lines now in the hands of too few aircraft manufacturers.

Battles and wars are not solely won in the air. Today, the modern military still has to fight and hold the ground. Nothing has changed in thousands of years of battle and conquest, except the training, weapons and logistical support. Strategy has not changed since Sun Tzu wrote the ancient Chinese military treatise "The Art of War" was written in the 6th Century BC.
