As the Aussies say, "NO WUKKAS".......due to budgetary problems this program will be eventually cancelled as well.

Besides, the Chinese have probably already stolen the state secrets to this technology and will be fielding weapons aimed at us sometime in the near future.

It seems to me that the idea that making a warhead five times more explosive with the same mass is a laudable goal for a weapons designer. However, claiming that this will reduce collateral damage (death of non-targeted civilians)* seems like a foolish oxymoronic claim. IMHO the major factor to reduce collateral damage is accurate intelligence that can permit use of smaller yield weapons, not larger.

*Most terrorists today are civilians and not soldiers. It can be argued that they are irregular soldiers, but they do not fight for a government. So terrorists are civilians that are proper targets.
