I am not a sports fan of any kind but still that looks pretty fake to me.

As far as the physic analysis goes I cant see how treating two humans as static particles in a collision energy scenario could be even remotely seen as valid either.

We are not solid incompressible objects but rather highly dynamic and energetic objects capable of being anywhere from highly pliant to highly energetic in our reactions and responses to external energy exchanges.

Agreed. I guess the article is tongue-in-cheek. Some people seem to have too much idle time and then spend it frivolously. (Just my opinion. But having wasted time I wish I had back, I feel qualified to make note.)
