Doomsday Clock Pushed One Minute Closer

If you are reading this does that make you a "clock watcher"?

or a "clockaphobe"

Now these folks have decided to throw climate change into the mix. Gee whiz. Can they possibly marginalize themselves any more? Does anybody really care what these folks think? Of course we know that Atomic Scientists are also experts on all things environmental too.

What do these "minutes before" actually mean? How are they determined and how long are they?

How do we know we haven't already gone past midnight and just missed doomsday altogether or it happened and nobody noticed?

Could be it's nearly lunchtime the next day.

Note to atomic scientists: Stick with the science and leave the politics to the undisciplined.

I thought it was Carbon Dioxide producers that were supposed to develop carbon capture technology. Not Coal producers as stated in the article.
