Survey Cites Amazon Kindle Fire Likes and Dislikes

I haven't used one yet, but I did buy one for my wife & step-daughter for Christmas. Both absolutely love the gadget! Of course my wife had the regular Kindle for a year before I gave her this thingy.

As far as I know, the price was right (and a hell of a lot cheaper then the grossly overpriced iPad) and it's a very capable gizmo, but it does alack a camera. So what, she can use her cell phone for that!

Also, the battery charge length is much more weaker. Again, so what? She can plug it in and charge it whenever she wants if she's at home playing with it!

One thing it really lacks is a much larger memory, as compared to the iPad or some of the other "Pad Clones" out there. If need be, she can always plug it into her laptop or my desktop PC and transfer book files etc etc etc to make room for new e-files.

One thing that sold me on the toy was that Amazon.com will most likely be around a long time for technical service and e-file downloads, whereas the Border's piece of crap tech service etc may not be in the near future (possible Chapter 7 or 11 Bankruptcy?) + Border's had a finite selection of e-books and whatnot as compared to Amazon.

Maybe I'll get one soon, too!
