AutoCAD Tip - Save Time with Smart Parametric Dimensions

Don't settle for regular dimensions when you can create smart parametric dimensions! Join Autodesk Evangelist Lynn Allen as she shows you how to create dimensions that update the geometry when you update the dimension text. Think of all the time you'll save! (Available in standard AutoCAD since 2010.)

Interesting that 2D AutoCAD has finally done what the 3D CAD has had available for 20+ years.

Sounds like a patent ran out.

Boy, that will really mess up the drafters I knew that just changed the dimension and never the actual part feature.
