NASA To Train Astronauts For Asteroid Landings

There's a lot of talk about what NASA's deep space manned missions will look like, and now a news article is giving us a sneak peek ahead of any official announcement: sending a crew of astronauts to land on a nearby asteroid, which would mean boldly going where no human has ever gone before.

I wonder how they're going to get out of Earth orbit? On second thought how is NASA going to get them into Earth orbit?

Not knowing the speed of an asteroid relative to earth...would there be any problems with time dilation or earth-to-astronaut communications?

A measurable effect from time dilation will very probably exist in the communication equipment. A problem with this time dilation is not possible, particularly because we can predict the effect.
