My questions would be, would they do it again without the tax break the rest of us paid for, and how many of them are of a mindset that would like to force the rest of us to buy them instead of what we want and need. I suspect more than a few.
1. Who would admit they made a really poor choice? ("My Dogmotors Crapmobile GT? That POS dream machine [that caught fire and burned down my garage]? Sure, I'd buy one again.")
2. Knowing you're going to be selling your Dogmotors Crapmobile GT someday, who would be dumb enough to give it a poor rating and risk reducing its resale value?
I have friends who bought a Volt. They seemed almost apologetic about it, like they were sorry they'd made that choice.
I'd like to see what J D Powers has to say. Their surveys are much more in depth and they follow new car owners for a year or so with additional surveys.
