Heineken's "Smart" Beer Bottles Create a Synchronized Light Show

So beer is becoming a foo foo drink now? Good thing it won't work with the nice dark ales I like...but I will protest if they do it to my cider bottles!

The same effect can be observed with tequila or gin or bourbon... after a few hours.

Let the smashing er clinking begin!

Still rather drink horse pee than Heini, or any of that imported swill, except for Guinness.

I could see someone designing a transferable led light that each patron could attach to the bottom of their beer bottle or other drink for use at a dance club or concert venue or rave.

The lights would have to be cheap enough so you could afford to lose a few since some people will take them home with them and some might accidentally throw some away with the bottle.

Make it like a beer hugger but with clear silicone so the light show thru.
I have a full set of Light up Lord of the Rings glasses (yes I'm a LOR GEEK ) that my brother gave me. That I occasionally drag out for parties at the house. Depending on whats put in them they glow pretty well.

So, now I've got to buy a heinie and dump it to pour my sprite in....

It would be more useful to light up when the bottle is set down. I know where it is when holding it. Finding it at camp fire party when I set it down can be another story.

What about applying gun safety tech to it so it recognizes the "owner". Pick up someone else's beer and it flashes red. Pick up your own and it flashes green.
