	When I started at PSU in engineering way back in the late 60's, the first day all engineering students were assembled in an auditorium for a short discussion on what to expect in the next 4 years. At some point, I clearly remember the Dean of Engineering telling us that English was our foreign language. We would talk primarily in numbers and drawings.
