Fear Of Radiation Exposure Prompts High Tech Underwear In Japan

In case you haven't noticed, the situation in Fukushima is still pretty bad. Radiation contamination still flows from the damaged nuclear plant, and despite early claims that humans weren't in danger, many Japanese believe their health is at risk. To provide some peace of mind, the Yamamoto Corporation recently unveiled a new line of anti-radiation underwear and wetsuits they say will protect the wearer from contamination. The lead underwear features a diaper-like swath that covers the genitals, abdomen and lower spine, which are particularly susceptible to gamma radiation.
