Ford Reveals Solar-Powered Car

Ford has revealed plans for a hybrid car that will be powered using a solar panel on the roof, ahead of CES 2014 in Las Vegas.

In the 1960s I saw a picture of a solar powered Ford. They had taken a Model A sedan because of its long flat roof and placed solar cells on it.

So what? I have been driving a solar car for decades now. I can drive for hundreds of miles every day, rain or shine. It just so happens that this solar energy was trapped in petrol . . .
