Urban Power from Fuzzy Buildings

We've got megawatt turbines, kilowatt turbines, micro turbines, and now… fuzzy buildings. In an effort to take advantage of urban height, Strawscrapers use flexible polymer straws with a piezoelectric core to generate power as they are rustled by the wind. Unlike turbines, the straws are quiet, efficient at low wind speeds, and some say mimic the esthetics of prairie grass or ocean waves.
