As the Internet of things grows to encompass billions of devices, its power usage will require novel technologies for improving efficiency.Between computers, smartphones, tablets, wearables, and the Internet of things, the number of networked devices around the world is growing rapidly, and all those devices need energy, even if they're not doing anything. That could be a problem.
