Is There a Future for Bio-based Adhesives?

An Adhesives & Sealants commentary argues for the renewed use of bio-based feedstocks - rather than petrochemicals - in the manufacture of adhesives. The article points out that some of the earliest adhesives were based on tar, plant resins, and iron oxide.
