That would be easy to do with Kevlar, but then the cost is higher as well.

As it mentions biometrics, I suppose it may not need a key. Just a fingertip or retinal scan. Sounds good on the surface. Before this sort of thing existed for real, it was featured in countless movies. Unfortunately the method used to circumvent it was too. I think I would rather be mugged and have my keys stolen than be abducted and fingers cut off or eyeball scooped out. Now I know that that won't work for them to open the door. But there are alot of stupid criminals out there that may not have read the article.
