reading the article says that they uncovered many other plane crashes other than Fossett's. Don't take this wrong, I like Mr. Fossett but it seems as the other people were not worth the search to find them when they went missing and now that they are looking for someone famous, they now find the nobodies. I am glad they found them nonetheless now at least their families can have the possibility of closure knowing what happened to them.

given that he didn't even file a flight plan I'd say they have their work cut out for them, technology or not.

I guess if his estate finances the search efforts, let them search. If not spend exactly what they would on any other person.

I've just checked the updated search news, they now think he is less than 50 miles away from his base. It's been over a week now, it is hard to imagine him surviving.
